What is included in my entry fee?
Cinco de Miles 5K participants will receive a custom designed t-shirt, awards for top finishers, chip timing and an invitation to the post-race event celebration. T-shirt sizes are only guaranteed for early registrants, so make sure you sign up by

April 19!

How can I sign up for Cinco de Miles 5K?
Online registration is available through RunSignUp. Paper registration forms will be available during packet pickup and the morning of the race.

What are the age limits for the races?
There are no age limits. We encourage runners and walkers of all ages to participate in the Cinco de Miles 5K!


Is the Cinco de Miles 5K walker friendly?
Yes! Participants can walk the 5K competitively with a timing chip!

Can I run with my dog?
Absolutely! We just ask that you keep your dog on a leash at all times and be sure to clean up any waste along the course.

Can I run with a stroller?
Of course! We just ask that those participating with strollers start towards the back of the pack to avoid any runner jams.


Are there age group awards?
Yes, the top 3 male and female finishers in each age group (5 year increments) will be recognized as well as our top 3 overall winners. We also have a kids division for those 9 and under.

Help, I just found out I can't make it to the Cinco de Miles 5K!
We're sorry to hear that you won't be joining us this year! Unfortunately, we will not be able to issue refunds for any reason, including cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. weather), but there is good news! You can transfer your registration to a friend or family member. To transfer your registration please email us at; be sure to include your first and last name, as well as the first and last name, phone number and email address of the person you will be transferring your registration to. We will then contact them to collect additional information. All transfers must be made by April 19; name changes will not receive official timing if received after this date.

Are headphones allowed during the race?
Yes, headphones are allowed, but we ask that you be mindful of your fellow runners and community members using the Riverwalker.


When is the last day to register?
Online registration will close on Wednesday, April 29 at 10 am. On-site registration will be available during packet pickup from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday May 1st at Fleet Feet in Mishawaka, and from 8:00 am to 8:45 am at Central park on Saturday May 4th.


When is packet pickup?
Packet pickup will be available from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Friday May 1st, at Fleet Feet in Mishawaka. If you can't make it out Friday afternoon don't worry! You can pick up your packet Saturday morning between 8 and 8:45 am.


Can someone else pick up my packet for me?
Yes, as long as they know how to spell your first and last name.


What if I ordered the wrong size t-shirt?

If you ordered the wrong size t-shirt please send us an email right away. We will not be able to make changes after
April 19. We will have a limited number of extra t-shirts on-hand during packet pick up and the morning of the race,
but once the extra shirts are gone, they're gone. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to exchange your shirt. You
can always find us after the race and see what's left.


Can I register on race day?
Yes, there is on-site registration on race day available for $35; we will accepting cash, checks and credit cards.

How else can I get involved with the race if I can't run?

We are always looking to add more volunteers to our Race Day Team! Putting on a 5K is a lot of work, but with the help of volunteers we're able to create a unique and fun experience for our runners and walkers. If you'd like to get involved, please send us an email at! All volunteers get a custom designed t-shirt as well as access to post-race food and drinks.
